Isaac LEVINE

Isaac J. Levine, M.D., died May 28, 2015. Isaac was born in Glasgow, Scotland to Minnie and Calman Levine. His sister Rita Greenebaum of Louisville preceded him in death as did his brother Elias Levine of Cincinnati. He was a graduate of Cornell University and Nebraska Medical School. His internship and residency were at Jewish Hospital where he co-founded the Pulmonary Department. He also introduced Echocardiography to Cincinnati. He proudly served his country in WWII in the Army. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Dian and five sons, William Kurtz (Carey), Michael Kurtz, the late Craig Kurtz, Charles Levine all of Cincinnati, Joseph Levine and David Levine (Jean) of Boulder, Colorado.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, May 31, 1:00pm at the United Jewish Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio. Calling hours will be at the family residence, 7-8:30pm day of funeral only. Donations to Isaac M. Wise, Plum Street Preservation Fund would be appreciated.
